Would you pay more for hand-sewn items home decor?
I am looking to start a small business home. His hobby business, sell items that I made at home with a needle and thread. Items include curtains, curtains, dining sets (tablecloths, napkins, runners) Vera Bradley style awards etc. Do consumers like a product that is hand stitchd versus something that is produced mass (something that is Wal-Mart) or even items that are sewing machine … I think that PPL would like things that are handmade rather than they can buy at JC Penny. I was sewing and embroidery since the age of 6 years (23 now) and can sew a perfectly right and embroider beautifully. I have a cheap flea market / farmers market raange? Or eBay? From that moment, planning on IM usingword mouth, trying to find a retailer to sell my products, etc.
Unlikely unless there is something that makes your product superior. I do not do the hand-sewn ..

The 2007-2012 Outlook For Custom Drapes And Curtains In India $609 This study covers the latent demand outlook for custom drapes and curtains across the states, union territories and cities of India. Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across some 5,000 cities in India. For each city in question, the percent share the city is of its state or union territory and of India as a whole is reported. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city vis-`-vis others. This statistical approach can prove very useful to distribution and/or sales force strategies. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each state or union territory and city, latent demand estimates are created for custom drapes and curtains. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved. |

The 2007 Import And Export Market For Textile Curtains, Drapes, Interi $216.6 On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences in France face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences to France? How important is France compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences vary from one country of origin to another in France? On the supply side, France also exports textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences. Which countries receive the most exports from France? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers? This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences in France. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences for those countries serving France via exports, or supplying from France via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models. In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where France fits into the world market for imported and exported textile curtains, drapes, interior blinds, roller shades, and bed valences. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for France in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country m@k33333ÿ¾Úð |
